Happy Christmas and Merry New Year!!!

Well hello ya'll!!!!! How have ya been? We are getting settled in Atlanta and loving it! So sorry I have not been keeping ya'll up to date on my recent travels and activities. Honestly these parents keep me so busy I barely have a moment to myself.

Well lets see where to begin.. Mommy told daddy she thought we should move, maybe head south to be closer to my cousins so we could grow up together and be able to play (plus mommy hates the cold and snow). So they started to form a plan, start applying for jobs, maybe put a for sale by owner sign out on the house to see how it goes, etc. Well as fate would have it Daddy applied to one job at Georgia State University, they called him within a week, he flew out for an interview, within a week or so they made him an offer. Mommy put a for sale sign out in the yard and less than a week later a couple looked at the house 5 minutes after they left they called and said they wanted to buy it. Boom! All happened less than 2 months of mommy and daddy deciding to move to Atlanta. Take that Uncle Matt and Aunt Lori you both said you would believe it when you saw it -well in your face! No really here we are in your face! :) Teehee


So daddy had to start his new job 3 weeks before we could get our house in GA. Mommy and I had to stay in PA and take care of business there. It was hard to say goodbye to daddy. I missed him a lot and mommy said she never wanted to be a single mom. Daddy took Neko with him to GA for support (and to help make things easier for mommy). Were not going to talk about the move or more to the point the movers/moving company because mommy's eye still twitches if you mention it to her. Shhhh, We do not want mommy to go to that unhappy place. Anyway, we made it to GA and we got our dream house - we are such lucky ducks!!! It is perfect for us and we are right by a village where we can walk for coffee and they have restaurants we will go to when I am no longer a potential threat or disturbance to the patrons. Ha, that mommy geesh!

I have an awesome backyard with a swing set and I can play outside all the time now.. Mommy has a fabulous kitchen so she thinks she can cook now. Daddy gets to go to work and bring home the bacon as he says - but he never brings bacon home so I am not sure what that is about.. Mommy let him have a playroom of his own in the house (as long as he keeps it tidy).
So we are just enjoyin the southern weather and hospitality.

I have been so busy with grandparents and more grandparents visiting and birthday parties and cousins and oh my... It has been great! Me and cousin Brobee (as I call him) have so much fun together and Little Peyton is pretty cool too. Neko has settled in and he likes to watch the birds out the front window every morning. We had to take him to the vet hospital, turns out he was chubby and had diabetes. He is feeling better now and I like to play with him, he does not always like to play with me. I tried to ride him the other day and mommy and daddy were not very happy about it. I mean geesh, whats the big deal? All I heard was blah blah , do not break the kitty blah blah already paid a fortune in vet bills blah blah...

So there has been so much happening, I will post some new pics and you can see how big I have gotten. Mommy and daddy just blab about how smart I am , I can count and I know my ABC's and I can sing and dance and not to mention I am just so darn cute! I started a music class and I love it! I get to play instruments and dance and sing and mommy gets to sing and dance too. Mommy also started me in a gym class to try and wear me down. Hmm. I can be quite stubborn and I am full of energy! Mommy can't always keep up. I like to outwit the parents , it is not that difficult sometimes.

So that is what is new here. We are having fun in GA but missing some family and friends. The weather is great (for mommy) daddy misses the snow some. I love that I can play outside so no complaints from me!

Okay I will try and make sure I get on here more often to let you know how I am doing and what is new with me. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I miss you and love you!!

Happy Birthday Brody and Bye Bye Bad Boobies!

Hello Everybody!!

Sorry I have just been so busy that I have not had time to update my blog. I hope you are all well and I would like to give a special shout out to my cousin Brody, it is his 2nd birthday today! Yay Brody, Happy Birthday and I hope you get lots of presents!! We love you and hope to see you soon.

I want to wish my mommy a happy year free of her bad boobies. We are done with all that icky stuff and are doing much better. Now it can go back to being all about me like it should be!

My cousin Bryce was just here for a visit. We had so much fun, we went to the crayola factory and we went to Chuck E Cheese. They tried to get me to go swimming in the hotel pool but it was loud and I got scared and broke out in hives like mommy does when she gets nervous. Anyway, we had lots of fun together. I like my cousins.

I am growing up very fast or so mommy and daddy tell me. I jabber and say all kinds of words. I like to repeat what mommy and daddy say. Mommy got me flash cards and I am learning new words, animals and numbers. I first started talking about the kitty kitty, then about my ball, I have soccer balls and a Dora ball then I would tell mommy and daddy about the duck. Now I am saying all sorts of things and sometimes it is just so darn frustrating because mommy and daddy don't understand me and what I want, Geesh it is not like I am speaking gibberish here people!

I still love to read my books, I read them everyday. I play in my house and like to build with my blocks and line up different items on the ottoman, window sill r other places, mommy says something about Obsessive compulsive behavior whatever that means! Daddy says it is mommy's fault and I got it from her - then mommy says I got my head and feet from daddy. They are silly. They make me laugh.

Oh I forgot to tell you, I have teeth and lots of em! Chomp Chomp. Mommy and daddy said they can't wait for these last molars to come in- that this and I quote "has been going on for to darn long" when it comes to my teeth mommy and daddy get very perturbed. Is that the right word? Yes I believe that is the word, they said they would use a different one but they would have to put money in my piggy bank. I wake up at night because my teeth hurt. So mommy and daddy whine about not getting sleep anymore. I don't like to lay in my bed with my teeth bugging me, I prefer to lay in mommy and daddys bed so I can make them be as uncomfortable as I am. After all we are a family, one and all or however that goes.

Oh I have a new best favorite show ever! It is called Bubble Guppies and I LOVE them! I still like Gabba but Guppies are the best and I ask for it, I say guppies, guppies?? Mommy and daddy sing and dance like the guppies, or they try too. Hahahaha. I hope they don't do that when my friends are over it is embarrassing!

I like our kitty kitty Neko. He likes to play hide and seek with me, but he is selfish and he always does the hiding! He knows I can't go upstairs and he sometimes runs up there. That is not fair! I like to pat him on his head and his whiskers are cool. I like his tail it is fun to pull, sometimes he nips me when i do that though. Bad Kitty!

I still love it outside, It stinks when it is to cold to go out. I like to run free just run and run and run. We go to the park, who needs swings and a slide when you got all that room to explore! I just run all over the place. Mommy says I am like a greyhound and we need a big yard with a fence for me to run free. That would be fun! Although I am not sure I appreciate her comparing me to a dog. I love animals but still...

Well I guess that is it for the moment. I will have more to report soon so I will keep this short for now.

Happy Christmas to all!

Hi everyone, it is me Lilly!! Well, I am sorry I have not been on here lately to keep you informed of the latest news and gossip. These parents of mine just keep me busy 24/7!!!

Mommy is doing very well and is super happy with her new and improved healthy boobies! She completed all her silly chemos and surgeries in November and she is happy to be finished! I am happy she is all done too. I don't like anything that takes attention away from me. Geesh! I prefer to be the center of everyones attention. Speaking of taking attention away from me , mommy got her new healthy boobies and my Uncle Matt and Aunt Lori got a healthy baby girl the same day! Imagine that! Little Peyton joined the Burke family. Yay! ( I guess)

Now back to me, I have just been dazzling everybody with all my tricks. I stack my blocks, i put them in their shape sorter, I read my books, I clap, I click, I say kitty and ball and mommy and daddy, I play hide and seek and all that baby stuff and well of course I have been walking/running all over. My newest adventure is gymnastics! Mommy and I signed up for a class with my BFF Olivia and her mommy and I love it!! We do not listen to the instructor too much- there are way to many fun things to do there! I am so excited we go every Monday. Mommy comes home and she is pretty tired, teehee she says its more of an exercise class for her since she has to chase me all over the place. Whatever mommy!

Daddy has been very busy at work, he is super important you know! I am not sure what he does exactly, something with computers and sharing points or something... Anyway we have lots of fun when he comes home. He likes to swing me in the air (but don't tell mommy!) and we wrestle and play.

The grandparents still spoil me like crazy and I love it! I get to spend time with them and they are fun to play with and let me do things I shouldn't do. Hehehehe

I still LOVE my baths. I have Yo Gabba Gabba bath squirters which are awesome! I love the Gabba gang, they are still my favorite.

Mommy started making my food, some of it is okay but really I don't know what she is thinking trying to feed me some of that slop! I just will not eat it. Pfffttt!

So that is what is new here. We are all good and looking forward to a much better and healthier new year for all of us! Mommy and daddy found a new photographer and I must say she sure does a pretty good job. I will post my pics and my Christmas card mommy made. I heard it got good reviews so far! And yet again they had me naked! Good grief what is wrong with my mommy and daddy!

Oh I got an early Christmas present from my cousins Brody and Peyton. I fell in love with a little red piano at my photo shoot and I got one for Christmas. I will attach the video of me playing my new piano too.

Yo Gabba Gabba First Birthday!!

Hi Everyone!!

Guess who turned one years old?? Me!! That is right. Woohoo. I am a big girl now!

I turned one on September 14th and we had my Yo Gabba Gabba birthday party on September 19th. It was AWESOME! Mommy and daddy (and the grandparents) did such a great job! There were tons of balloons and Gabba stuff and a Life size Foofa! She is my favorite, daddy thinks we should of gotten DJ Lance but I like foofa - she makes me laugh. I had such a great party with family and friends and got lots of presents!

It was so much fun until they tried to put me in my high chair and make me get my hands dirty with this sticky hunk of sugar they set in front of me, ick! Grampa was sitting next to me and i looked at him and tried to say Grampa, help! get me outta here. But it just didn't come out sounding like that. Finally mommy said that is enough and let me out. Uggh I do not ever want cake again! Even if it has the Gabba gangs picture on it.

Well so much has happened since we last spoke. I have been very busy keeping mommy and daddy busy. We are all very happy that mommy has finished her icky chemo - her last one was on September 9th and she was a bit dramatic about it. (and they call me a drama queen!) Geez
Anyway she is finished and aside from that last one it was not so bad. Now she can focus on the more important matters at hand like me and what I want to do...

I love all my toys. Mommy and daddy have made me a nice play area in the den with a little cage full of my toys. Mommy usually leaves that cage door open since they have a baby gate on the den door. I can run free around the den with my stuff- For some reason mommy has left this awful pink bunny that sings in front of the tv stand in the den, it scares the poop out of me and if i try to push the buttons on the DVR she pushes its foot and it sings. I scramble away from that evil thing as fast I can. Daddy says its cruel but mommy says it works so hush daddy!

I really love to escape when the gate is left open and run free around the house! I like to explore in the kitchen and open and close cabinets and doors. When people try to come out of the bathroom I push the door shut on them to try and close it. Teehee I am now trying to stand and walk around with stuff. I use the couch and ottoman and all my push toys. I am trying to learn as quick as I can so I can run faster than mommy and daddy and especially faster than our chubby kitty kitty Neko. I love to chase him but he just is to quick for me, but soon, very soon I will be faster than him! Then look out kitty kitty! That tail will be mine!

I am now onto lactaid milk and I can have different foods but I really don't care about food much. I prefer to play and get into things right now.
I love to read, well I love to look at my books. I sit with my books and I go through them all. I like to have mommy and daddy or the grandparents read them over and over again. I sometimes like to read while I am sitting there pooping, mommy says I get that from daddy. Hmmm...

It is going to be getting colder now, I will be sad when I can't go out and swing or take walks. Mommy says I am getting a sled though so we can still go outside when its cold and snowy. I love it outside. Next weekend I am going to a farm with my friend Olivia - we are going on a hayride and they have a petting zoo! Oh boy I am so excited I can't wait.

I will post some of my birthday pics. Mommy and daddy also took me to get some photos taken for my first bday. She was not very happy since they rushed us, but I think they came out pretty cute if I do say so myself. I will also post a video of my walking skills - i used my new zebra to help me get around the house.

So I think that is about it for now. Oh, remember my nephew Brody? The one that tried to shove me off the chair at Christmas? Well he is getting a baby sister in November. Her name will be Peyton and we are very excited- I am excited too. As long as she does not try to steal my thunder. I bet her and I will be best buds and she will get cousin Brody back for me. Haha He has no idea what he has in store for him. Poor Brody.

Bad Hair Day!!!

Hi Everybody!! It has been awhile since we last talked..

Sorry. I have been very busy taking care of mommy (and daddy). Mommy is doing well. She had her surgery for her bad boobies and she is very happy with her new and improved healthy boobies.

Now mommy is moving onto something she calls chemo. She said it will make her hair leave but it will come back, I don't know where it goes? On vacation? To the mall?? Hiking?? Where does hair go?? Anyway- mommy got herself some temporary hair, I thought I would try on mommy's temporary hair. Teehee... I didn't like it very much. It was a bit to much hair for me. I will stick with my own luscious locks.

I have been quite the handful during all this or so mommy says! Geez. I have 3 teeth now and more coming in. So i get a little cranky and wake up at night. I mean what do mommy and daddy expect? My darn teeth hurt! Daddy got a little crown on his tooth and he whined about it all day..... I thought to myself well good for you daddy now you know how I feel!

I am growing like a weed, mommy says that too I don't know why she is comparing me to a weed, honestly where does she get this stuff from?? I have my Dr appt today so we will get my new weight and height!

I have started rolling to get where I want to be, sometimes those places are not the same places mommy would like me to be. But I am quick! I am not crawling, crawling is for amateurs! I think I will roll and then go to walking.. No need to crawl around like a monkey on my hands and knees! I am jabbering away and say dada and mama and they are sure I said kitty kitty one day. I like to keep them guessing!

I love to watch my most favorite show ever!! It is called Yo Gabba Gabba and no matter how cranky I am , I laugh and smile when it comes on. It is really funny and I like all the characters! Mommy and daddy know all the songs and can sing them to me. I have them all on my ipod too!

I am eating my baby foods and munching on some baby snacks too. I like food, mmm it is much better than the formula. I will be glad to be done with that icky formula soon! Bring on the beef and Veggies!

I love the outside, I have a swing on the front porch and I love to sit and swing and watch all the neighbors and people going by. Mommy and daddy call me noisy Rosey! That is a bit rude, just because I like to see what is going on around the hood.... We are fixing up the backyard so I can have a swingset and play back there, I can't wait!

I have gotten to spend lots of time with the grandparents which I love! They all spoil me so much and I am just the center of attention! That is my favorite place to be-the center.

Well folks, I really have to go. I have to get ready for my Dr Appt. Have to do a few sit ups before I have to jump on the old scale... So I will try to update you all soon on new news. Mommy has been working on her own blog about her stuff, It is not as fun as mine but I will share it with you when it is ready.

Happy Bunny Day!!

Hello everybody!

I want to wish everyone a happy bunny day!

Mommy and daddy and I all went and got our pictures taken for bunny day. Mommy says I look cute in my pictures but her and daddy still have some baby weight to lose. I hope I don't still have baby weight to lose when I am their age! Geeez! They look fine to me and they are awfully comfy and squishy to lay on.

It looks like we will all be celebrating bunny day at my house. I hope the Easter bunny brings me lots of good stuff, I mean-I did have to wear that crummy dress for pictures! Then they put me in that embarrassing bunny tail and ears like I was one of Hef's girls! Gosh!! I was barely wearing any clothes!!

Anyway, things are getting busy around here so I may not be able to chat with you all for a little bit, but don't worry I will be back soon.
