Happy Christmas to all!

Hi everyone, it is me Lilly!! Well, I am sorry I have not been on here lately to keep you informed of the latest news and gossip. These parents of mine just keep me busy 24/7!!!

Mommy is doing very well and is super happy with her new and improved healthy boobies! She completed all her silly chemos and surgeries in November and she is happy to be finished! I am happy she is all done too. I don't like anything that takes attention away from me. Geesh! I prefer to be the center of everyones attention. Speaking of taking attention away from me , mommy got her new healthy boobies and my Uncle Matt and Aunt Lori got a healthy baby girl the same day! Imagine that! Little Peyton joined the Burke family. Yay! ( I guess)

Now back to me, I have just been dazzling everybody with all my tricks. I stack my blocks, i put them in their shape sorter, I read my books, I clap, I click, I say kitty and ball and mommy and daddy, I play hide and seek and all that baby stuff and well of course I have been walking/running all over. My newest adventure is gymnastics! Mommy and I signed up for a class with my BFF Olivia and her mommy and I love it!! We do not listen to the instructor too much- there are way to many fun things to do there! I am so excited we go every Monday. Mommy comes home and she is pretty tired, teehee she says its more of an exercise class for her since she has to chase me all over the place. Whatever mommy!

Daddy has been very busy at work, he is super important you know! I am not sure what he does exactly, something with computers and sharing points or something... Anyway we have lots of fun when he comes home. He likes to swing me in the air (but don't tell mommy!) and we wrestle and play.

The grandparents still spoil me like crazy and I love it! I get to spend time with them and they are fun to play with and let me do things I shouldn't do. Hehehehe

I still LOVE my baths. I have Yo Gabba Gabba bath squirters which are awesome! I love the Gabba gang, they are still my favorite.

Mommy started making my food, some of it is okay but really I don't know what she is thinking trying to feed me some of that slop! I just will not eat it. Pfffttt!

So that is what is new here. We are all good and looking forward to a much better and healthier new year for all of us! Mommy and daddy found a new photographer and I must say she sure does a pretty good job. I will post my pics and my Christmas card mommy made. I heard it got good reviews so far! And yet again they had me naked! Good grief what is wrong with my mommy and daddy!

Oh I got an early Christmas present from my cousins Brody and Peyton. I fell in love with a little red piano at my photo shoot and I got one for Christmas. I will attach the video of me playing my new piano too.

Yo Gabba Gabba First Birthday!!

Hi Everyone!!

Guess who turned one years old?? Me!! That is right. Woohoo. I am a big girl now!

I turned one on September 14th and we had my Yo Gabba Gabba birthday party on September 19th. It was AWESOME! Mommy and daddy (and the grandparents) did such a great job! There were tons of balloons and Gabba stuff and a Life size Foofa! She is my favorite, daddy thinks we should of gotten DJ Lance but I like foofa - she makes me laugh. I had such a great party with family and friends and got lots of presents!

It was so much fun until they tried to put me in my high chair and make me get my hands dirty with this sticky hunk of sugar they set in front of me, ick! Grampa was sitting next to me and i looked at him and tried to say Grampa, help! get me outta here. But it just didn't come out sounding like that. Finally mommy said that is enough and let me out. Uggh I do not ever want cake again! Even if it has the Gabba gangs picture on it.

Well so much has happened since we last spoke. I have been very busy keeping mommy and daddy busy. We are all very happy that mommy has finished her icky chemo - her last one was on September 9th and she was a bit dramatic about it. (and they call me a drama queen!) Geez
Anyway she is finished and aside from that last one it was not so bad. Now she can focus on the more important matters at hand like me and what I want to do...

I love all my toys. Mommy and daddy have made me a nice play area in the den with a little cage full of my toys. Mommy usually leaves that cage door open since they have a baby gate on the den door. I can run free around the den with my stuff- For some reason mommy has left this awful pink bunny that sings in front of the tv stand in the den, it scares the poop out of me and if i try to push the buttons on the DVR she pushes its foot and it sings. I scramble away from that evil thing as fast I can. Daddy says its cruel but mommy says it works so hush daddy!

I really love to escape when the gate is left open and run free around the house! I like to explore in the kitchen and open and close cabinets and doors. When people try to come out of the bathroom I push the door shut on them to try and close it. Teehee I am now trying to stand and walk around with stuff. I use the couch and ottoman and all my push toys. I am trying to learn as quick as I can so I can run faster than mommy and daddy and especially faster than our chubby kitty kitty Neko. I love to chase him but he just is to quick for me, but soon, very soon I will be faster than him! Then look out kitty kitty! That tail will be mine!

I am now onto lactaid milk and I can have different foods but I really don't care about food much. I prefer to play and get into things right now.
I love to read, well I love to look at my books. I sit with my books and I go through them all. I like to have mommy and daddy or the grandparents read them over and over again. I sometimes like to read while I am sitting there pooping, mommy says I get that from daddy. Hmmm...

It is going to be getting colder now, I will be sad when I can't go out and swing or take walks. Mommy says I am getting a sled though so we can still go outside when its cold and snowy. I love it outside. Next weekend I am going to a farm with my friend Olivia - we are going on a hayride and they have a petting zoo! Oh boy I am so excited I can't wait.

I will post some of my birthday pics. Mommy and daddy also took me to get some photos taken for my first bday. She was not very happy since they rushed us, but I think they came out pretty cute if I do say so myself. I will also post a video of my walking skills - i used my new zebra to help me get around the house.

So I think that is about it for now. Oh, remember my nephew Brody? The one that tried to shove me off the chair at Christmas? Well he is getting a baby sister in November. Her name will be Peyton and we are very excited- I am excited too. As long as she does not try to steal my thunder. I bet her and I will be best buds and she will get cousin Brody back for me. Haha He has no idea what he has in store for him. Poor Brody.

Bad Hair Day!!!

Hi Everybody!! It has been awhile since we last talked..

Sorry. I have been very busy taking care of mommy (and daddy). Mommy is doing well. She had her surgery for her bad boobies and she is very happy with her new and improved healthy boobies.

Now mommy is moving onto something she calls chemo. She said it will make her hair leave but it will come back, I don't know where it goes? On vacation? To the mall?? Hiking?? Where does hair go?? Anyway- mommy got herself some temporary hair, I thought I would try on mommy's temporary hair. Teehee... I didn't like it very much. It was a bit to much hair for me. I will stick with my own luscious locks.

I have been quite the handful during all this or so mommy says! Geez. I have 3 teeth now and more coming in. So i get a little cranky and wake up at night. I mean what do mommy and daddy expect? My darn teeth hurt! Daddy got a little crown on his tooth and he whined about it all day..... I thought to myself well good for you daddy now you know how I feel!

I am growing like a weed, mommy says that too I don't know why she is comparing me to a weed, honestly where does she get this stuff from?? I have my Dr appt today so we will get my new weight and height!

I have started rolling to get where I want to be, sometimes those places are not the same places mommy would like me to be. But I am quick! I am not crawling, crawling is for amateurs! I think I will roll and then go to walking.. No need to crawl around like a monkey on my hands and knees! I am jabbering away and say dada and mama and they are sure I said kitty kitty one day. I like to keep them guessing!

I love to watch my most favorite show ever!! It is called Yo Gabba Gabba and no matter how cranky I am , I laugh and smile when it comes on. It is really funny and I like all the characters! Mommy and daddy know all the songs and can sing them to me. I have them all on my ipod too!

I am eating my baby foods and munching on some baby snacks too. I like food, mmm it is much better than the formula. I will be glad to be done with that icky formula soon! Bring on the beef and Veggies!

I love the outside, I have a swing on the front porch and I love to sit and swing and watch all the neighbors and people going by. Mommy and daddy call me noisy Rosey! That is a bit rude, just because I like to see what is going on around the hood.... We are fixing up the backyard so I can have a swingset and play back there, I can't wait!

I have gotten to spend lots of time with the grandparents which I love! They all spoil me so much and I am just the center of attention! That is my favorite place to be-the center.

Well folks, I really have to go. I have to get ready for my Dr Appt. Have to do a few sit ups before I have to jump on the old scale... So I will try to update you all soon on new news. Mommy has been working on her own blog about her stuff, It is not as fun as mine but I will share it with you when it is ready.

Happy Bunny Day!!

Hello everybody!

I want to wish everyone a happy bunny day!

Mommy and daddy and I all went and got our pictures taken for bunny day. Mommy says I look cute in my pictures but her and daddy still have some baby weight to lose. I hope I don't still have baby weight to lose when I am their age! Geeez! They look fine to me and they are awfully comfy and squishy to lay on.

It looks like we will all be celebrating bunny day at my house. I hope the Easter bunny brings me lots of good stuff, I mean-I did have to wear that crummy dress for pictures! Then they put me in that embarrassing bunny tail and ears like I was one of Hef's girls! Gosh!! I was barely wearing any clothes!!

Anyway, things are getting busy around here so I may not be able to chat with you all for a little bit, but don't worry I will be back soon.

Happy Birthday Cousin Brody!

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to write a post to wish my cousin Brody a happy first birthday!! He will be one year old on March 29th! Wow , he is a big boy now! We wanted to be there to celebrate cousins first birthday with him but we have to stay here in Scranton. Maybe once mommy is better we will visit cousin Brody, I have some unfinished business with him!

In honor of my cousins birthday I want to post some pictures of him. This is when he was just a baby-he looks like a little glow worm.

This is one of mommys favorites, she still has it hanging on the fridge. I don't see whats so darn great about it... Look at this one of me I am pretty cute -but you don't see this hanging on the fridge! Geeez..



Mommy says that sometimes me and my cousin look alike in certain pictures, I don't know what she is talking about! I am a girl! I don't look like a boy! Sometimes mommy worries me!

Anyway, I would like to also post some of our Christmas pictures. I will have you know that while everyone was trying to take pictures of us together cousin Brody hauled off and whacked me. Gee whiz! Everybody was laughing like it was so cute! I have proof of these things I speak of as you will see in the pictures below!! Pretty rude of him since I am such a dainty girl, Teehee...

Mommy says we will visit cousin Brody after all her non sense is over, so all I have to say is look out cousin Brody! I have been eating my veggies and getting stronger every day! Can't wait to wrestle with you!

Boobies are bad!!!

Hi Everyone it is me Lilly!

Today I want to talk about boobies and why they are bad...

My mommy found out her boobies are no good! (Daddy says he never had a problem with them...) But anyway, she had to go and get them checked by a Dr. and they told her they are no good and she is going to have to get new boobies...

I am scared for mommy. But she told me that she is going to fight and everything will be fine. I am not sure who mommy is fighting but she is pretty tough so I am sure she will win! I get my toughness from her (and maybe a little from Mimi). So she said together we are going to kick some butt!

Mommy told me boobies are nothing but a big pain in the A**! (Tee-Hee that cost her a quarter! ) She said ever since she got hers they have been nothing but trouble.. She could never wear cute little t-shirts or tank tops, nothing fit her right, her back hurt her a lot, men got stupid when she talked to them... Geez, I don't even want boobies if they come with all these problems! Mommy said we are going to make sure my boobies stay healthy though!

All the grandparents are helping mommy and daddy. They get to spend more time with me so they are happy about that and so am I - But my mommy and daddy are the best at taking care of me. Even though the grandparents spoil me! (Grandpa lets me watch Yo Gabba Gabba during the day!) Gramma reads me books and they all bring me presents when they come visit!!

We are all going to take care of each other until mommy gets her boobies fixed and is feeling better. Then we are getting my Mimi all better too! She is as tough as a cactus so I know she will be fine.

So that is all I have to say for now. Mommy said all you ladies make sure you go and get your boobies smooshed! Also mommy wants to thank everyone for their prayers and best wishes. She is very happy for all of your support!

Goodbye Mr. B...

Our weekend was a very sad one.. We had to say goodbye to my furry brother Mr. B. (formerly known as Clyde)

Mr. B was 17 and mommy has had him since he was 3 weeks old. Mommy and daddy are very sad and miss him a lot. I do too. Neko misses him just a little bit- but he won't admit it.

Mr. B was the best cat and we have many great memories and stories of him. Daddy likes to credit him with the fact that I was born, he says that Mr. B incubated me the whole 9 + months mommy was pregnant. He never left her lap and made sure i was nice and snug inside her belly. He wouldn't even budge when I started to kick him and his little head would bounce up and down on mommy's belly. ( I am a strong kicker!)


Mimi always likes to tell the story of Mr. B when he was little and she came to visit mommy. She was showing off her fancy new designer purse and she hung it on a doorknob. Mr. B marched right over to it and lifted his leg and did his business on her purse! Teeheehee Oh my!! I bet my Mimi was very angry about that!

Mr. B would occasionally like to partake in a Vodka Martini. Daddy and Grampa like to have a martini now and then and sometimes when they weren't looking- Mr. B would take a few sips of their martini. He would get a bit wobbly as he tried to jump off of the coffee table onto grampas lap to curl up on his belly and take a nap..

Mr. B got into quite a bit of mischief.. especially as a kitten. Mommy says there were many broken vases, missing sandwich parts, missing hair ties etc etc. Mr. B would sneak up and try to take your sandwich or pizza when you were not paying attention. As a matter of fact he snuck into the fridge last week when mommy was getting water and pulled out some wrapped up left over pizza. He got a good bite out of it before mommy retrieved it from him. Teehee

We all miss Mr. B. But we will remember these stories and think about him in kitty heaven curled up with Bonnie next to a heating vent. He is happy now and he can run and play and eat all the people food he wants! He can even enjoy a martini now and then..

Rub a dub dub!!

Hello!!!

Today I want to tell you about one of my favorite things.. bath time. I love bath time! It is so much fun and the water is so nice and warm. I have an awesome pillow- like raft that mommy and daddy use for my baths. I just lay there like I am floating in a pool in the sun...

Last night was bath night. Mommy and daddy are a team when it comes to bath time. Daddy's job is to get the water and my raft ready along with the shampoo, soap and rubber duckies. Mommy gets the towel and washcloth and gets me stripped down to my diaper. (they like to wait until the last minute to take the diaper off) they think they are so smart! haha. So last night as mommy got me to the tub she hands me off to daddy and she grabs the diaper as daddy lowers me into the water. I thought daddy was a little off with the water temperature -so I decided that I better pee in the tub so they would have to change it and put some warmer water in there.

Mission accomplished! Daddy exclaimed oh sh(*&* she just peed. Teehee - it cost him a quarter too! Score of last nights bath time game - Lilly-1 daddy-0. Better luck next time daddy!

Hello Everybody! It's me Lilly!

Hello Everybody!!

I am back. As you can see I have decided to create my own blog. Frankly, mommy just was not staying on top of things with the Pickle blog. I realize she is tired and busy with me and my furry brothers - but gee whiz what's a baby girl to do? I have my peeps out there who need to know what I have been doing. Would it kill her to throw a new picture up once in awhile? My gosh...

So I had to take matters into my own hands.

Well I will be 5 month old on the 14th! Wow, that sure did fly by. I am getting bigger and stronger everyday. Hopefully-I will be sitting up on my own soon, it stinks relying on mommy and daddy to prop me up all the time. I can roll over but I usually choose not to. It bothers my belly so I tell mommy and daddy , yes I can do it but I don't want to. They start flipping me over-rolling me back and forth, front to back Geeeez! It's like I am a fish out of water flopping all over the place!

I have lots of toys I play with everyday. I like to read my books too. Oh and I have discovered these amazing things on the bottom of my ham hocks-they are called feet and they are the coolest thing ever! They taste delicious! I like to chomp on them for awhile each day.. Mommy tries to put my socks on because she says it is disgusting but I just rip them socks right off and shove those feet in my mouth! It is great!

Oh I love to watch Nick Jr. It has my favorite shows-like Yo Gabba Gabba, but mommy will not let me watch it during the day. Pffft! That mommy is a stickler about watching tv. Daddy lets me sneak tv with him, but don't tell mommy!

Well I am collecting a lot of money in my piggy bank. People sure do forget that they can't swear when they are near me. Any time someone swears it cost them a quarter-if they use the baddest word, the "F" word it is 50 cents! Sometimes grandpa just walks in the house and goes straight to my bank and puts a few dollars in it.. Teehee...

Mommy and daddy got a flip video recorder to take videos of me. How annoying! They are following me all over taping everything I do! They even video taped me in the tub! My goodness!! There is no privacy for a baby in this house!

Anyway, I will post some of my pictures and videos for you - But not the tub one that is private and once I learn how to I am going to delete that one! I will show them!
